Back in Madrid
Whew – it’s been awhile! Well, we arrived back in Madrid yesterday and have spent much of the day with our friends April and Kelly and new friends Kris and Scott in the city today. We will go to the school (YWAM) to settle in tomorrow.
I am now 19 weeks 1 day; and I’m wearing loosely-fitting maternity clothes. I’m in an uncomfortable pants stage – I have one pair of pre-pregnancy pants that fit, and two semi-fitting maternity pants – but everything tends to fall down a bit . . .
Mom took me shopping on Wednesday and I got a few more outfits that should fit well in a couple of months. We also looked at a lot of baby stuff – all SO cute! I couldn’t resist buying a soft frog rattle and little hat with a frog on it!
I may have felt a little movement for the first time last night – or it may have been gas. But it wasn’t uncomfortable like gas usually is. I hope it was baby! We did get to hear the heartbeat about a week ago again, we stopped at the office where I used to work and grabbed the doppler and head into a room – that was really strange because it was the room in which I would see patients – I told Samuel how to do it and he quickly found the heartbeat. As always, it was great to hear!
We’ll have our next visit on Monday the 21st which should include another ultrasound!
That’s all for now, we hope to be able to set up a wireless network at YWAM and keep updating regularly.
