So here I am, I’m back. Not sure what to write about. Obviously much has happened in the past year, and much is happening now:
We moved back to Spain 4 weeks ago and have spent time with friends in Madrid, Valencia, Sevilla and now in Cádiz. I know it sounds great – to be able to travel all over Spain – and it is, but it’s also hard. We’ve been without a home or a place we could call our own for about two years now, and we long for that so much it hurts sometimes.

It’s been a frustrating search – we looked at one place that was in a great location, but was too small and didn’t have an oven; we’ve made several other calls with no answers or have been told the apartment has been rented or that they won’t rent to foreigners.

We have been having a lot of fun with friends, we were able to spend two weeks in Valencia with April and Kelly and made it to the beach four times. Josiah LOVES the beach! He couldn’t wait to get his hands in the sand and get it all over him! Check out the pictures in the gallery to the right.

Last week we celebrated the first birthday of Jonah and Heather’s daughter, Sophia. What a beauty she is! It’s so great for Josiah to have a friend his age to play with! They are very cute together – though he does have the tendency to want to poke her in the eye or pat her on the head with a little too much gusto. (check the gallery for pictures soon).
