Josiah in The Hospital – I
Our family is going through a lot at the moment. Josiah was burned on Friday (second degree over most of his chest) and on Saturday he got gastroenteritis (not a good combination) both of these conditions have lead to his becoming severely dehydrated. Unfortunately tonight he had to be admitted to the hospital to be monitored and given an IV to stabilize his fluids and electrolytes. Where he gets admitted so do we. We are staying at the hospital with him and as such are a bit out of contact.
The doctors say we may be in the hospital for two to three days while he is monitored and depending on his reaction to treatment. Please pray for us as we are both exhausted from the past few days of hospital trips, sleep deprived nights, and worrying over our sick little boy.

Robyn,
You don’t know me, but I wanted to let you know I am praying for you guys and Josiah.
Backstory – I was at your fundraiser dinner at Dave and Danielle Bult’s table. They are very good friends of ours and we are in the same small group. My husband has just recently gotten into web design and feels God calling him to help feed His people through this skill. I was explaining this to Danielle and she reminded me of you all. So, I checked out your sites and can’t wait to show Joe. He will love them.
Anyway, she also told me of Josiah’s present trouble and I wanted to write a little comfort. When my husband was little he and his dad were tussling and his dad accidently broke both of his legs! He was in traction at the hospital and everything. We wanted to let you know so that you might not feel alone. Accidents happen.
Hope things are getting better,
Elizabeth Drouillard
