“So they took the breathing machine off today he can breath all on his own now.. hurray!! He still has the tubes in his nose as a precaution. He’s starting physical therapy today for his muscles and coordination. Since he doesn’t need to have oxygen the MRI will be much easier. He’s a lot more awake now. They’ve started him on diff meds for his digestive system. The treatment is 7 days if he doesn’t improve then they’ll x-ray his belly to see if his intestines are blocked. The doctor would like to exhaust all functional possible problems first before thinking of physical problems, specially to avoid unnecessary radiation. So we are praying that his stomach starts working this week, and he starts digesting food.”
