David: March 3
“He’s food intake continues intermittent.
Some times he digets more, some less, some none although overall it’s better than a week ago. They’ve lowered his incubator’s temperature as they’ve notice he was getting agitated over 30C and it’s now at 29C. Since he can’t regulate his temperature yet the outside high temp gave him a fever last night and fast heart rate but he’s fine today. He seems to like 29C heart rate is down to 150 which is really the lowest we’ve seen and perfectly normal for his age. Tomorrow they’ll order a non emergency study of his digestive system to make sure there are no physical problems with it, consisting of ultrasound and x-rays with some contrast composition in his digestive tract. Breathing is good and it’s our perception that he shakes much less when you touch him. The physical therapy is still going to prevent any future problems from being always laying down on the same posture. The goal is to get him to eat so they can take the IV out and transfer him to an open crib where we can interact easier with him.
Jesus”
