April 10: “Breathing is much better today. They are concerned because it looks like he’s regressed neurologically because of this infection, to the point that he doesn’t need sedation to be intubated. But some people seem to think is only temporarily. The isolated the germ today so they know it’s a ICU bacteria. The theory goes the infection made him regressed neurologically and that because of that he inhaled liquid into his lungs. No matter what we are still believing God for a miracle and more than complete healing.

April 14: “We are past the pneumonia and sepsis. Still under antibiotic treatment but he is practically breathing on his own and they’ve started feeding him again today. New plan is to increase milk intake quickly, put him into a crib and transfer him to a different ward in the same hospitals. He’s past 2 months old now so they’ll put him in a “Infant ICU” rather than newborn. The good news is that apparently we’ll have more freedom in staying with him there for longer periods of time. We’ll find out more when that happens.
