Today I ate the first tomato of my little garden! And it was a little, tomato, too; but it was good!

The plants haven’t gotten any taller than about 18 inches, and don’t show any sign of getting any bigger, but there are currently 18 green tomatoes and my red pepper plant is looking good.

I’m thinking about planting some melons, they’ll take up more space, but the neighbors don’t seem to mind. In fact, the next door neighbors Isadora and Gracia get a kick out of commenting on the state of the “garden” every time we see them .
