“FINALLY! PRAISE GOD!” I exclaimed when Samuel told me that the courier had called on Thursday to let us know that he’d be delivering our internet router. He didn’t seem as excited, which I didn’t understand at first, but after a second thought, I could understand why he would reserve his enthusiasm: we’re in Spain. We’ve learned not to believe anything will be completed until it actually is completed.
But, the courier came, Samuel opened the box, set it up and realized we had received the wrong router. We had ordered WiFi, they brought us ethernet. Oh well. We could still get online and we’ll sort out the rest later. (Fortunately, we are able to borrow a WiFi router from a friend who isn’t using hers).
On Friday and Saturday we were out of town, and Sunday we were busy and recovering from our trip, so FINALLY here I am online.
Josiah is giving me a little extra time: he actually asked to be put down for a nap, just 90 minutes after waking up from his last one: He found his stuffed frog, walked to his room, put his fingers in his mouth and moaned. I went in and found that he had put froggy in the crib and was patting the pillow with his free hand. “Ok, honey, I’ll put you down.” I think he’s still making up for the busy weekend. He had about 12 – 14 hours less sleep than usual within a 2-day period.
Well, I’m back. Stay tuned.
