We continue to receive daily updates about David. His pneumonia cleared a few days ago, but he continues to be monitored for convulsions.

He started having convulsions (described by Jesús and Rachel as “tremors”) on Friday. Numerous tests have not revealed the reason. He has been sedated and placed on three anti-convulsant drugs. The first of the three was discontinued yesterday and the doctors are waiting a few days to see how he responds. So far no tremors. I imagine they will continue to wean him off one drug at a time every few days.

He is still intubated, still in ICU and Jesús and Rachel are only able to visit him twice a day for 15 minutes right now. They estimate he’ll be in for a couple of weeks.
