We were able to spend a couple of hours with Jesús and Rachel on Thursday. They were in good spirits and doing well considering the circumstances.

David continues to be intubated, but was breathing more deeply on his own. The doctors have also started weening him off the anticonvulsants, which he has tolerated well so far.

We heard from them yesterday, however, that David had an electroencephalogram (EEG), and sadly it demonstrated some brain damage. We continue to hope and pray for healing and recovery. Please continue to pray with us for David and for our friends who have been faced with this difficult news.
