Baby David – February 20
I just received this email from Jesús with the latest update on David:
“He’s breathing better today, [the respirator] is back to minimum help. He ‘s digesting the milk some times better some times worse, but that’s normal. We are starting to bring breast milk this pm. His body movements are slow for now but the doctor is impressed with the baby’s recovery as he confessed to us today that he didn’t expect to see the baby get this far. Praise God!!! So we are still expecting miracles to happen. He’s requested an MRI which should happen in the next couple of days and we are believing for a clean result. They checked his eyes today and everything is in order and showed no new information about the brain.
So we are praying for his lungs to work fully so he can be off the respirator; for his brain to function perfectly and show no damage on the MRI; for him to improve his digestion (he can only have 5ml per feeding right now through a tube); for stronger muscle tone and movements and in general for perfect health.
Thanks for praying with us.
Jesus”
