Davy Repetto: Feb 22 update
Just received from Jesús:
“More good news today they extubated him last night and so far he’s hanging in there ok. They are watching him carefully and hoping he’ll be able to continue with just the oxygen on his nose. See picture. MRI will most likely be next wednesday. They are in no hurry to do so since the longer the better for imaging and seing if there’s any lasting damage. He’s still not digesting too well so they’ve given him some med to help him out with digestion. He’s being fed 5ml per feeding still but doesn’t always retain everything. His hands and feet some times do shake a little when stimulated. So we are continuing to pray for him to digest better, for his movements to get sharper and more coordinated, for all shaking to disappear, for him to be able to stay off breathing machine, and lastly and most importantly for no lasting brain etc damage. When we were there this morning he could hear us and opened his eyes and looked in our direction which was very exciting.”
