Josiah’s Prayers
We’ve been praying almost 3 months now for Baby David, and Josiah has learned that when someone is sick or hurt we pray that Jesus will heal them.
This morning his babysitter called to say she wasn’t able to come today because she had just had an infected tooth pulled and was still in a lot of pain. When I told Josiah that Rosa wouldn’t be coming because she was sick and her mouth hurt a lot he responded, “Let’s pray for her!” So we held hands and prayed.
About a minute later he stopped what he was doing to ask me if I felt better (I’ve been suffering from allergies with lots of sneezing, nose blowing, etc.), I told him that I had taken some medicine and was feeling a little better. He responded, “I prayed for you.”
I thanked him for praying for me, then he came over to hold my hand and said “now you pray for yourself” – so I did, and he chimed in “to heal you.”
