David
We were able to see Jesús, Rachel and David briefly on Thursday. As you can read here in Jonah’s post of a few days ago, he left the hospital on May 5.
They came by the office between visits to two different doctors at the hospital where he had been admitted (across the street from us).
It was good to see them, to embrace our friends and touch the tiny little hands of this little boy still fighting for life. It was also heartbreaking to see and experience first-hand a little bit of what this family is going through. After a few minutes of their arrival David needed to be suctioned, and although he doesn’t cry like the typical newborn, it was certainly evident that he was uncomfortable with all the mucous and with the suctioning.
Please do continue to pray for our dear friends.
