Toledo Valentine
We had been invited by Samuel’s friend, Raúl, to join him on an evening storytelling tour of Toledo on Valentine’s Day. We thought it sounded interesting, so we signed up. But since Raúl and friends weren’t planning to go until the evening, we decided to make more of a day of it and took a one hour bus ride from Madrid to Toledo.
Toledo is a very old city, with a rich history and the buildings still standing to prove it. It reminded me a bit of Mackinaw island due to its “touristy” nature. It was built on a plateau and is almost entirely surrounded by a river – very picturesque!
It was another beautiful day and we enjoyed our time there very much!
